Trash your T folder in App Support. I went to Prefs and got my port back, but nothing moved until I trashed T folder.

Also is checking data taking forever??

It works well - except Quicklook doesn't show anything (it's just blank).

Once I upgraded, everything quit! Even my desktop which was not upgraded wouldn't connect. What happened? Upgraded on my MacBook Pro running Leopard 10.5.8. I was downloading just when I received the update msg. Immediately afterwards, nothing. Tried going back to 1.54 but still nothing. Switched my connection from my Laptop to my desktop which runs Tiger and 1.54 Transmission and it also would do nada. Did upgrading do something to my ports? I currently use Satellite internet and have a router I go through. All my internet works but not Transmission 1.74 nor n ow 1.54. Any ideas?

What does, "Trash your T folder in App Support" mean?

Thanks

Please forgive if this has been discussed elsewhere on these forums, but WHY was the "Remove all files" menu item obliterated? I realize that "Links to original torrent files are no longer maintained", but frankly I don't understand any advantage to *that* non-feature either.

Where are you seeing this?

There really is no need to keep the file when added - it can be restored with Cmd-S in Transmission. This option(s) caused a lot of confusion and was prone to a lot of breakage.

Yeah, this is ridiculous. I used "remove all files" almost every day.

Thanks but that wasn't my main question. My main question was/is
nemodomi wrote:... WHY was the "Remove all files" menu item obliterated? ...
As fishsauce above, I used this every day.

[Move DLed file(s) to different folder] + [Remove all files] = [Instant/easy housekeeping]

Sorry, should have said: on Leopard, 10.5.8 - all the recent software updates installed.
Reboot didn't solve it.

To replicate the problem:
Find torrent with images.
Press cmd+i for file list.
Press space (for Quicklook).
See how Quicklook HUD pops up, with shape & size & title of image, but no actual image.

Notes: Quicklook works fine when used directly from Finder.

There's nothing I can really do about that - it's controlled by Apple's code.
