libtransmission as a shared library (.so)?

I'd like to play around with libtransmission in an open source project... when released, I would like it to be able to integrate with libtransmission easily... having a libtransmission.so would help

I know I can just bundle libtransmission in my own software, but i'd rather depend on it because that's the "normal" way to do it, saves a bit of RAM, and causes transmission to be advertised to anybody wanting to install my package.

I wouldn't do that yet, because libtransmission is still being heavily modified. Until the API is stable, I fear there will be many problems with people trying to replace their libtransmission.so while there are not compatible.

i guess i'll just bundle libtransmission-0.5 for now...
