Transmission

Hey I am trying to be able to send torrents to my friend that i created and It looks like sometimes I am able to get him connected but no downloading occurs.

I think it may have something to do with the fact that it says "port is closed" in Preferences > Network.

I was hoping someone could help ...

Whenever I go to create a torrent and than press create it says... creation of "whatever torrent it is" failed. Can anybody help me out, I am try to learn about to create torrents.
