Success!

I have just downloaded the new update 1.50b3 and there is a huge speed improvement. Sooooo, guess it WAS the software after all. Maybe it would be a good idea to put a little more time into updates instead of releasing one every week.

So I am now also having the incredibly slow speed problem (0.3k) , but at least its better than the nothing I had before. Port still closed, tried all options blah blah.
BTW: Instead of just responding by linking the same old wiki, which everyone have tried with no success, maybe someone should ...

Thanks for the reply, yes I have run it with no success. Basically i use a lot of different connections as i travel and have never needed to set it up as it would connect automatically. Now no matter where i am and on what connection (always airport) the port is closed.

After downloading the previous version of transmission my port is now permanently closed. Even after downloading the latest beta version 1.50b1 (7672) it remains the same. I have been using transmission forever and have never even needed to change port setting, even using it in different countries ...
