I have a powerbook with a 4200rpm drive, and at about 1mb/second it is almost impossible to use the computer for anything else but Transmission. Part 1 of this seems remarkably similar to my post for Speed Limit by TOTAL speed. If it weren't already obvious, I'm in favour of this feature. (And the statistics are 'nice to have' but of a much lower priority in my books.

Agreed. I'd like to see a 'recent history' speed graph showing the combined historical throughput in a format like Excel's 'Stacked Area' chart.
