Oh..ok. I get it.. yeah, that does make sense then. And now that I know that I finally found out why there is this funny little turtle-button in Transmission to limit speeds with just one click

Upload rates are pretty much constantly at around 80 - 100 KB/s. But, when loading a webpage, aren´t the packages coming IN? How come that it becomes so much slower even though download rates are low? Can high uploads even block incoming information?

whenever using Transmission the speed of our internet connection is getting a lot slower. I know, if I was downloading with 500 KB/s that wouldn´t be surprising. But even when I am only downloading with 20 KB/s using the internet is getting incredibly slow. Which is annoying my ...
