I'm not sure if Transmission is compatible with Windows 7, but what I mean is that the app is on the portable HD, so when the user launches it it's loaded directly from the portable HD, the settings (including directories) would also be loaded from the portable HD (and having those directories on ...

I was thinking more along the lines so the whole application, including settings are also on the portable HD.

This is just something for us all to speculate on. It may or may not be taken seriously.
