Torrents in the Main window can change their position depending on their progress/sort order/change of group.
While not being particularly useful, I think it'd be neat if those transitions could be animated (like they are in the iChat contact list.)

Priority for Uploads?
I am not really sure I understand the concept of 'Priority' correctly. My impression is that it doesn't really work for uploads. (should it?)
What I am trying to do is the following: I have a few torrents which I have seeded but still need to 'earn' a good ratio on. I also have a bunch of torrents ...

Re: Suggestion: more static display of torrent name
I agree. I couldn't think of a simple way to handle this either. For 'proper' handling one would probably need to track the recent string lengths or something, which sounds like quite a bit of effort.

Suggestion: more static display of torrent name
This is a non-dramatic subtle issue:
When a torrent's name is long, it may be truncated in the downloads list to ensure the current status information can be displayed. If that status information is the current DL/UL speed and the transfer rates vary, the length of the string that is displayed ...

Re: German Localisation
Let's perhaps be a bit slower here.
Localisations are not trivial to get right. And rushing them through will give bad results, particularly for a non-trivial project like Transmission. I am happy do do some localisation, but I am not willing to clean up after other people's mistakes.

Re: German Localisation
As I said, I can work on a German localisation, but I would need some advice on this first (which files to work on, at which point it would make sense to start etc).

Re: Clicking the pause scrolls torrent list
OK, tried the current nightly and it solves the problem.livings124 wrote:Yup, nightlies are 1.6 betas currently (will be 1.50+ after 1.50 is released).
Also has Bonjour advertising for the web interface, so I don't even need to suggest that. Cool.

Great.livings124 wrote:It should be fixed in the nightlies for 1.6.
Are the nightlies you linked to earlier those for 1.6? The disk image says 1.42 + junk.

Re: Clicking the pause scrolls torrent list
I'll have to try that when I'm back home. But I definitely saw the problem in 1.50b4 as well in case that's any help.livings124 wrote:Does this happen in the nightlies (assuming you're on 10.5)? http://transmission.xpjets.com/

German Localisation
So what about a German localisation?
There seemed to be efforts along those lines last year which appear to have stopped.
Is there any interest in having one?
I can offer to help.

Clicking the pause scrolls torrent list
There seem to have been scrolling issues for a long time, but this one seems slightly different:
1. Open Transmission and add torrents / resize the window such that the vertical scroll bar appears
2. Turn on Groups
3. Scroll to the very bottom
4. Click the little Pause/Resume button for one of the ...
