Since version I-don't-know-what (a while ago), I had that network problem on Snow Leopard. When Transmission was running, it would (randomly?) makes my network go crazy, and I would lose all Internet connections for ~1min. At every update or beta release, I tried it, and the problem was still there ...

1.75b2 didn't help with my problems.

I downgraded to 1.61 and everything is back to normal. Maybe there's something developers can look at there?

It was already around those values. I lowered them even more without more success.

Besides, the problem also shows when I'm not uploading at all, just downloading at a 500kb/sec limit (set in the Transmission preferences), when according to Speakeasy's speed test, I have a 900kb/sec speed in ...

I tried reducing the number of connections from 200/100 (global/per torrent) to 20/5. I still have the same problem.

I'm having the same problem here. My internet connection drops (Safari, Adium, Skype, etc. AND Transmission stop working) at some point after I started Transmission. I tried both the 1.74 and the last build from the repository (9043).

Let's say I have a file named "aaa.zip" and I want to share it on two trackers. I create two torrent files, I upload them on each of the trackers, then what? If I try to open them both, Transmission tells me it's a duplicate of an already added transfer.
