On Mac OS X you can set Transmission to download nightly builds automatically in Terminal with
defaults write org.m0k.transmission SUFeedURL http://transmission.xpjets.com/appcast.php
This sets the update engine to check for nightly builds instead of release builds.

In the Mac version when a Torrent is started you can choose to trash the .torrent file in the "Transfers" part of the preferences dialog. I'm assuming it's in the GTK+ version, too. It's not a good idea for applications to rename files without express user interaction. Transmission could i...

Ability to "ban" an IP address from specific torrents?
I am using 1.51+ (8079) Mac and was wondering if a feature similar to what is in Azureus could be implemented where for a specific torrent you could ban an IP address from connecting while downloading or seeding that Torrent.

When a single file in a torrent is moved, Transmission balks at the entire transfer and reports a "File Not Found" error and ceases all transfers in that torrent. It would make more sense if Transmission either follows where that file was moved to or just stopped including that file, as if...
