Oh and I'm not sure if I said this before, but the strangest bit seems to be once the download completes, the torrents will start uploading. Typically not at maximum speeds available (I have my upload capped at 600Kbps, and it tends to run below 100Kbps), but it'll actually start connecting to some ...

@essiw - I did reset the modem a few times, and wireless router a few times. Still having the same issue. :(
@timta - It happens on EVERY torrent I download, without fail, regardless of tracker, torrent, or number of/ratio of leechers to seeders. :(
If it is Comcast, that just doesn't seem legal ...

To my knowledge, nothing changed as far as the physical connections of my modem and wireless.

Okay, so I tried a couple telling things last night - I connected my computer directly to my cable modem to make sure it wasn't the port forwarding issue causing these issues, and saw the same thing happening connected directly to the modem with no router involved.

So I have tweaked with all my settings (total peers, peers per torrent, etc.), I have port forwarding set up correctly (I've tested it at whatever that website is), I'm using Comcast (which supposedly doesn't do a lot of shaping of their traffic), I've TESTED to see if there's shaping going on (via ...

I've been having the same issue - sometimes, none of my torrents will upload, at other times they'll upload but the rates go up and down VERY rapidly - 300kps+ one second, down to 50 or 18kps the next. Port forwarding is set up, ports are open, the ISP isn't doing any weird stuff, I'm forcing ...
