Transmission

I want to run only *one* instance. Is there no one to adjust the number of torrents verified at a time? Or a way to pause a verifying torrent?

Is there a setting for how many files Transmission can verify at a time? There's one 1.43 TB torrent I periodically download and update. It takes a long time to verify. I was opening a previously downloaded torrent file from a /tmp directory and slipped -- apparently selecting a file and a directory. Now, everytime a open a new torrent I get "invalid torrent file" errors referencing the file and directory. They're not referenced in the "torrents"...

I still have the problem with Transmission 2.33 on Ubuntu Natty amd64. I suspect it's a problem with the libevent library, so I'm installing the version from Oneiric.

Ever since the update to Transmission 2.22 I've been getting "bad file descriptor" on a few files. Not always the same ones. fsck shows the drives to be clean.

Transmission should remember the dimensions of a resized properties window. In particular, if the "Show more details" box is selected on the "Peers" tab, and the dialog is resized to show all the columns, Transmission should remember the resized dimensions.

I'm using Transmission 1.91 on Ubuntu Lucid, usually adding links or torrents from Firefox. With torrent files Transmission bring up a dialog box in which I can select select the download location. With magnet links Transmission doesn't bring up a dialog box, just uses the default download location....
