I think it was just coincidental that the global bandwidth limits worked before (meaning the upload rate decreasing after resetting the pref) b/c I can't get them to work at all now on any torrent or group after testing many times. I have Upload rate set to 50 kb/sec in the Bandwidth prefs yet ...

I first noticed this with Speed Limit, that it was not working at all when enabled. Transfers were uploading at max bandwidth with no limit. When i unchecked and rechecked Speed Limit, then it worked fine.

Ok, thanks. Yeah, it's not causing any issues within the app or in OSX. It's just that the particular server doesn't allow certain special characters in the file name, a colon being one of them. So i'll just have to use another special character in its place.

Using Transmission 2.84 on 10.8.5, when creating torrent files upon dropping folders into the Transmission window, it's converting forward slashes "/" into colons ":". For example, a folder titled "Name1 / Name2" opens in the torrent file as "Name1 : Name2".

using osx 10.7.5, in the torrent file list after opening a new torrent, if i Alt+click on a box to uncheck all boxes it crashes everytime.

right, well i did try the other sort options but they do me no good for what i need to see, which are the active torrents. i don't need to see the inactive ones for my purposes. so it's easier just to hide the app or flip up the torrent groups than change the sort type back n forth. it must be the ...

i just upgraded to Lion 10.7.5 and notice how different the torrent panels are moving up & down when sorting by activity. after looking at it for 10 sec it hurts my eyes and i either have to hide the app or flip up the torrent groups so i can't see the the torrents anymore, which sucks b/c i like to ...

ok, i tried a newly added downloading torrent and it paused for a few seconds, but i was still able to move windows within a couple other apple apps.

on 2.7.1 & OSX 10.6.8 and this isn't happening to me. if i pause an actively seeding torrent, it pauses for maybe 1 second, and has no effect on the OS.
