Re: New utils (edit, show & create) how? where?
I would recommend buildtorrent if you just want a program for making torrent files.

Re: Upgrade to 2.10 on Linux caused gui problem
This isn't a transmission problem but a packaging problem. Why don't you use transmission-qt?

Re: Can't get more than 60 peers per torrent
The max peers setting only applies to new torrents. If you added that torrent before you changed the setting you'll have to change that torrent manually with transmission-remote.

Re: accidentally deleted all torrents...am i screwed now?
You'll have to readd the torrents to transmission.

Re: bug. rpc doesn't listen when launched as non root user
That's because only root can bind to ports < 1024.

Re: ip 91.121.60.42 used by transmission servers?
The test server that probes your port to check if it is open is on 91.121.60.42. Your port doesn't "unblock" just because you made a firewall exception for an address.

Why not used the incomplete and save to location directories to accomplish this?

1.22 is around 2 years old. Install a newer version, 1.77 is in backports and 2.03 is in testing.

Re: automation request
The screenshots on transmission's home page show where to find the script settings for the gtk and qt clients. If the mac client doens't support setting it then you could try opening a feature request ticket.

Re: lauch a script after download is finished, seeding, paus
You can use it in any version, not just the daemon. I do not see any way to run a script inside Transmission 2.04 for Mac OS X version. please be more specific if you know. I don't have a mac but the ability is there inside libtransmission even if the gui doesn't explicitly have any setting for it....

Re: [Solved] Libevent Error
The default transmission version for ubuntu 10.04 is 1.93 . To verify this run 'apt-cache policy transmission'. In regards to your compiling issue, transmission doesn't yet support libevent 2.0 as that is still a testing release.
