P.S. Unfortunately 1.22 is the latest release that Debian's default package manager will download and install, not sure why that is. But later linux versions (appear to) work fine...

I've recently set up Transmission on my Mac and have been downloading quite a few files with it.
I'd like to leave Tranmission running all the time but I'm reluctant to do that since my Mac Pro uses a lot of power.
