Transmission

I had a torrent file which was extremely slow therefore I decided to delete the file while it was paused in Transmission.

However, I realized that after I deleted the incomplete file in my trash, it never freed the 8.6 GB which it allocated when I first downloaded the file.

Can someone help me ...
