Had the same problem on my MacBook Pro (10.5.8). 1.75 works fine but still shows up as 64bit in Activity Monitor, is it supposed to do so?

Transmission 1.74 won't start on Mac OS X 10.5.8 it just bounce forever in the doc taking 100% of the CPU! Tried downgrading or use the 1.75 beta but still no luck.
I want to try removing all the torrents and see if I can start successfully, how can I do that when Transmission aint starting?
