Transmission

For me this problem persists on *any torrent client...

I tried using the sysctl.conf fix to fix the problem, but I never had crashes anyway and memory and cpu footprint was very small always.

The problem is no matter what upload/download limits I set they are completely ignored and they max out my connection.

I posted in some other forums but it seems this is the most active.
No matter what bittorrent program I use, I cannot control the upload or download speed.
As far as upload it maxes my upstream bandwidth. Download seems to be a little controllable, if I set it to 5k, it fluctuates between 15-25k ...

WOW, thank god it's not just me, reinstalled whole OS after trying all the different torrent clients trying to fix this issue, my roomies were going to kill me. Thought I was taking crazy pills, now to fix it , ugh
