I strongly believe it is neither Snow Leopard nor Transmission 1.75 - it's the router hardware. Boot Camp has the same issues and I'm now at a friend's house with a different router ... and downloading with 1,75 MBit! Runs like hell ^_^

So, it must be the router (NetGear e.g.)

Are old version (pre 1.74) still available, so we could try an old version?

However, I ran a test under Win XP Boot Camp - same with uTorrent!! Could be a router problem instead of Snow Leo ...

I have exactly the same problems, I even tried uTorrent under Parallels and the WLAN crashed 30 sec later. It has definitely sth to do with torrent / many peers or high bandwidth usage. I tried to limit both peers and bandwith in Transmission but I can't find any stable settings.
