Transmission

When ever I try to download a torrent on my macbook it just sits there and does nothing. In the Messege log it just keeps saying
DHT not ready (broken, 0 nodes)
tracker response: 0
I have checked all my firewall allows incoming transmission connections and checked my settings with my girlfriends ...
