Transmission 1.92 (Build 10363) on Fedora 13 (kernel 2.6.33.3-85.fc13.x86_64). I have "Save to Location" set to a directory on a different drive. If I start a torrent and the drive is not mounted, instead of an error message saying that the directory does not exist, I get a message saying that ...

As a general rule I tend to stick with whatever version of a given package is in my distribution's repository.
The good news is that I am now on Fedora 12 (beta) so the current Transmission version is 1.76. Indeed the issue has gone away.

Transmission becomes unresponsive after starting new torrent
Hi,
I'm using Transmission v 1.72 on Fedora 11.
Everything is working perfectly, except that after starting a new torrent, the application becomes unresponsive for 10-20 seconds. It won't respond to input, nor redraw the window. After that it picks up, and carries on normally.
Is this expected ...
