I'm also having this problem. Trying to download a single torrent, and it effectively blocks me from doing anything else on the Internet. MacBook Pro with 10.6.2. It's a shame, I like the UI on Transmission much more than VUZE, but it's gotta be usable to be, uh, usable. This seems like it should be ...
