Re: Crash v1.8b5 Seeding 457 torrents, no crash partially paused
This is the crash I believe is the same one happening in repeat, I think happened while I was downloading something but that may have been a coincidence: Process: Transmission [931] Path: /Applications/Transmission.app/Contents/MacOS/Transmission Identifier: org.m0k.transmission 10 org.m0k.transmiss...

Re: Skip verify local data
I admit I have been stuck on this a few times, espeically when multiple crashes come while downloading torrents (it happens more often than it should...) So I this is what i think is the most appropriate solution: It should be a window popping up on the startup of transmission after a crash asking w...

Re: Crash v1.8b5 Seeding 457 torrents, no crash partially paused
Seems to be working with the nightly I downloaded, no crash when "resume all"
It did crash once when I was downloading a torrent but I believe that was due to a separate issue I have yet to identify the cause of
I will post back if i find anything

Crash v1.8b5 Seeding 457 torrents, no crash partially paused
I have 457 torrents seeding, whenever I "resume all" with 1.8b5 it crashes a few moments later. If the app restarts, and all of the torrents are still active, it crashes again after a few moments, but I have time to pause them before that happens. It does not crash if I only resume 2 of my...

Any version? Or excluding betas?livings124 wrote:The latest will always be the most robust, of course.
Anyways, that cant possibly be true. Sometimes older is better, sometimes newer is better. But nobody ever says newest is always better.

How to use Quick Look integration?
What are the requirements to use Quick Look integration? Mine seems to be disabled
On my transmission, v 1.80b5, File > "Quick Look" is grayed out
Quick Look in OS X 10.5.8 is functioning properly in finder and on the desktop

Discussion: Most robust version ever?
This question goes out to mainly the developers:
What version of transmission do you believe to be overall the most robust?

Global peer info
Global peer info should show in Statistics window and/or Inspector window when no torrent is selected

Re: What are your thoughts on download/upload ratios?
I think it's best to aim for 3.0:1 ratio or better, and the best way to do this is uncheck "Stop seeding at ratio:" and just seed everything forever or until you run out of hard-drive space. Then you can clean up whatever you don't use anymore. I personally try to keep the ones that are se...

Re: Skip verify local data
Yes, I'd like to be able to skip verify too. I just accidentally selected all my torrents and accidentally chose to verify them all...wish I could cancel this but there is no obvious way! Please incorporate it soon. Thanks. Lol I did that once just to see what it did, took a few hours, so I just le...

Re: Add new torrent to the top of the listing, not bottom
Add new torrent to the top of the listing, not bottom please. This is more of a philosophical point, but having to deal with things already downloaded tends to make people not seed things that have, because if the downloaded stay in the list at the top, it just gets in the way. If, instead, new tor...
