Re: Transmission issues with the /Volumes Directory
Well it happens if my computer reboots somehow and the drive doesn't come up since Transmission starts automatically on boot-up. But ultimately it should be forbidden to make a directory inside the /Volumes directory since that is for mounted drives.

Being able to move data files around
It seems impossible to move the data from a torrent around at all? For example I create a torrent that is not in my "Complete" folder but elsewhere. So I take the created torrent to seed and then I run it. The problem is that it doesn't see the file that I have for seeding and just thinks I am going ...

Transmission issues with the /Volumes Directory
I find that if you have your incomplete or download folder on a mounted external hard drive you can get issues if you open Transmission when the drive is not mounted.
The issue is that Transmission actually makes a folder in the name of the mounted volume in /Volumes and then gives up in finding ...

Re: 1.90 crashes in libcurl
Well since it's not crashing now I'm not about to try to make it crash by upgrading. Especially since the devs haven't changed anything in the area I'm describing
I'll try it in the next few weeks, but for now I'm catching up with some DLs and enjoying not having issues :-\

Re: 1.90 crashes in libcurl
livings124, I understand your standpoint, but at the same time I don't get crashes on 1.90 anymore after changing the settings I mentioned.
So maybe my issue was different.
Anyhow, glad to hear the issue is resolved for both of us.

Re: 1.90 crashes in libcurl
I think I found a way to fix this. I have to set the global connexions max to something at least slightly larger than the connections per torrent times the number of concurrent connections.
So, if I set 50 connections for each torrent, and I have 4 active torrents, the maximum connections has to be ...

[locked, duplicate] Latest Transmission constantly crashing
Hello,
I have had this persistant problem with Transmission. Not just this version, but others. Basically, Transmission starts, and within 20 minutes of running, it freezes with the beach-ball. I'm sure it's Transmission, since I am not running anything else. The problem is that it doesn't crash ...
