Re: Torrent List - font size - is able to be reduced?
Thankfully since this thread was active the Transmission sources have left behind the embarrassment of SVN. Unfortunately the hardcoding of fonts is still there. Curiously in a source file instead of the associated header/include file, wow I learned better than that decades ago in college. One short...

Re: Enlarge font?
Update: most macOS apps these days allow one to scale everything (Firefox ftw) or at least specify fonts (eg. Mail.app). Since 2011 it has become much more common for people to use full Retina pixels on laptops, and 4K / 5K monitors. Transmission is very much behind the times in 2021.

Re: Feature request - font size
seconded. This is increasingly a problem as people get 4K/5K displays.

Re: I WOULD DONATE MONEY for an increase text size option
Even more than people using a TV from a couch, are people using 4K / 5K monitors. I just set up a Dell U4021, which is beautiful. I found a way to scale Firefox; Mail.app is easy to set fonts for. Transmission is recalcitrant. The OS scaling the entire desktop isn't a good solution. One buys a monit...

Re: REQ: wish list for advanced sort/filter options
I would also like to be able to sort by cummulative upload/download totals, but I would like even more for Activity sorting to be broken out into three options:
o Sort by all activity
o Sort by upload speed
o Sort by download speed
o Sort by all activity
o Sort by upload speed
o Sort by download speed

Re: Dropped seeds after 30 min - 1 hour
One of the most recent few changes smelled like it might be related, and I've just installed nightly build 12521 with apparent success.

Re: Dropped seeds after 30 min - 1 hour
Curiously, after running the binary that I built, 2.22 crashes on startup. Probably because the resume files are incompatible between 2.22 and 2.31. Yet somehow that wasn't a problem when I reverted to 2.22 from 2.30b2 or from stock 2.31. I haven't found a reference on the resume files, so it's not...

Re: move a whole disk of files
Am I missing something? Why not just select all the torrents in Transmission and context-menu "Move Data File To ..."?

Re: Dropped seeds after 30 min - 1 hour
It's already disabled. Then why suggest µTP might be buggy? I didn't. I speculated since it was new in the release where the problem started. I rebuilt with the two indicated patches and can currently see a modest number of peers, but not as many as I'd expect. Where are these patches located? Here...

Re: Why no uploading?!
So far it seems to help at least somewhat -- I'm not seeing as many peers as I would expect, but now I'm getting at least halfway-reasonable uploads.x190 wrote:Oh, that one. If not flagging seeds as seeds helps, by all means, go for it.anthony11 wrote:uh, the one three posts above this one.

uh, the one three posts above this one.
I had initial issues relating to the extremely low default values for peers, etc. Upping them resolved those.

Note that lossage is also reported in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11762&p=54971#p54971

Re: Please: Delete individual files
On a related issue, I've noticed that 2.22 (at least) when I move the data files to a different filesystem: when I subsequently Remove Data File ... the files are not actually removed and I have to rm them manually.

Re: Why no uploading?!
Add me to the list of 2.31 users who have seen their uploading go down the toilet. I'm using a private tracker (only). Scrapes are reported as successful, grabbing eg. 145 peers for a torrent posted today, but the peers tab shows nothing at all most of the time. Occasionally a uTorrent 2.2.1 or Tran...
