Re: Unwanted Files Mess
I am using fat32 to be compatible both with Windows and linux.
so I've got the same issue but I agree I'm using an old filesystem
would it be hard to do the auto-delete of unwanted files once the torrent is finished downloading as suggested above?
in the mean time I'm doing it manually
thanks

Re: Can I uncheck files AFTER downloaded to save space?
It could simply ask you if you are sure before committing.
With Transmission knowing what was checked and downloaded before, it could even pop up and say:
===================================================================
The following files have been unchecked which will result in their removal ...

Re: Can I uncheck files AFTER downloaded to save space?
okay thanks,
that's what I was doing. just hoped to get rid of the 'false' error.
It's a bit of a run around but I suppose I could
remove the torrent (not the files)
delete all unecessary files from system
re-initiate the torrent - select only the files I want
verify data
too bad unchecking ...

Can I uncheck files AFTER downloaded to save space?
I have downloaded a composite torrent with many files.
I unchecked half of them before initiating the download b/c I didn't need them.
It has finished downloaded. Now there are more files I could discard to save space on my drive.
I tried double-clicking the torrent, going to the File tab and ...

No longer shows space remaining on chosen drive in add windo
v2.01 (10989) on Ubuntu 10.04
Transmission used to show space remaining on the drive you choose in the add window. Now it doesn't. Was this removed? I LOVED that convenience of not having to go to a separate file browser or terminal to show space.
