Re: Move a half downloaded file from Android to Windows/Linux

You need the content and the torrent. Skipping the validation of the torrent requires you to also copy the resume file ... BUT the paths on your phone and on the target machine are very likely to differ so I'd advise against that.

Please paste the actual commands and config lines here as it might be as simple as a typo.

Re: Resume Selected v Resume Selected Right Away v Resume All

"Resume Selected Right Away" puts the selected torrents in download mode, skipping the queue, even if the number of torrents is larger than the queue-size. The other ones put the torrents in download-waiting mode, putting then in the queue. If the number of selected torrents to resume is lower than ...

Re: night mode

AFAIK the stock UI has some gradient images in it. There are ways to get a dark interface if you use the web interface instead.

it's 2021, why we don't have the ability to download by RSS Feeds and filtering with Categories/Tags, maybe Color Tags like in the old macOS version of Transmission?

Thx
Labels are supported since Transmission 3.00. I'm working on Shift to add support for labels as well.

Edit: My bad, registerProtocolHandler seems to be supported by other browsers too, so I will take a look to handle magnet links properly, thank you again!
And thank you for putting a ★ on it! Good luck!

Re: larger text

Maybe go for a web-UI instead? I use Linux/KDE, but I'm sure Windows also has options for resizing the UI of an app.

Which browser?
It appears to be an annoyance with a bad error message. Suppressing an exception or even returning "true" somewhere might be the solution.
Your removal issue is especially weird as technically the only difference is sending a "true" instead of "false" for trashing the data.

Re: Transmissionic Web Interface

For now it only works on pages that contain a magnet link. I can't share torrent site here, but for example on this page it will work: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnet_URI_scheme In the next version it will also work with torrent file links. For magnets there is a standard way to handle them....

Re: Find Least Downloaded Torrents

Hello all. I have Transmission installed on my Synology NAS and wanted to know if there is a way to find out which of my torrents are the least downloaded of the bunch. My aim is to find these least downloaded files and remove them once a month. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank yo...

Re: Minor CSS issue on mobile

The bottom bar to change settings is hidden below the bottom of the screen. Latest stable Chrome, iPadOS. This was a poor design choice from the get go, keeping the design somewhat similar across platforms. Important stuff like a button for settings/configuration should be at the top of the screen....

Ok, name 5. Basic authentication works fine with Firefox. (Look I named at least one for which it DOES work.)

Re: Request help

No, because AFAIK there is no IOS version of Transmission. There is a topic about an IOS Transmission client ( I made a GUI for Transmission for iOS and it has arrived to the AppStore ) but that appears to be dead. So I suggest you run a server with Transmission and then use a web-UI like Shift to m...

Setup your NAS as an NFS-server. Setup your Pi as an NFS-client. Mount your server disks on your Pi. Find the old download dir on your NAS. In settings.json on your Pi:

Code: Select all

    "download-dir": "/path/to/nfsmount/and/download/dir",
