Re: 192.168.1.[XX] exceeds the max. number of session per ho
I'm back with Transmission again – and still have this problem, though not all the time. One thing I've noticed is that the router log keeps filling up with the "max. number of session per host!" message even after Transmission has been shut down.

Re: 192.168.1.[XX] exceeds the max. number of session per ho
I never found a solution, so I ended up switching to uTorrent; it works.

Re: 192.168.1.[XX] exceeds the max. number of session per ho
Thanks for your suggestion.
My router has a "Max NAT/Firewall Session Per User" setting, but the max is 6000, which, apparently, is too low.
I just wonder why there's no problem with uTorrent.

Re: 192.168.1.[XX] exceeds the max. number of session per ho
Unfortunately, I was a bit too quick with my previous assessment. The problem persists.
I tried uTorrent to see if there was any difference – and there was. I'm still hoping for a solution for Transmission though, as I much prefer it to any other bittorrent client I've tried.

Re: 192.168.1.[XX] exceeds the max. number of session per ho
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately it made no difference. Even with the Global maximum connections set to 1 I still get the "192.168.1.35 exceeds the max. number of session per host!" message and with the same frequency.

192.168.1.[XX] exceeds the max. number of session per host!
When I run Transmission, my router log keeps saying "192.168.1.35 exceeds the max. number of session per host!" -- I get about 50 of these messages a minute. And -- probably a related issue -- when I've just restarted the router, the port I use for Transmission is open, but after a while i...
