Transmission

My current theory is that something in 2.31 or 2.32 corrupted some settings or resume files. Possibly after a forced quit (power interruption or system freeze). Same here, when returning all the Resume files into a clean install recreates the bug, when experimenting with putting back one Resume fil...

Confirmed that .DS_store seems to be the problem indeed (on OSX) :S
A quick look on the internet came up with nothing, guess we'll have to live with it for now.

@albagali Welcome to the club, maybe you should make a new thread instead of trying to hijack this one. Please ASAP. I can confirm the problem sometimes also occurs when moving a torrent. Next time this occurs I'll check if hidden files are still present and report back, right now I cannot reproduce...

This random non-folder-deleting is the most irritating thing about Transmission! Which is a good thing, since it doesn't bother me enough to even think of getting another torrentclient Still it can be rather confusing and slightly annoying at times, a solution or workaround would be pleasant.

Transmission has magically stopped crashing after I decided to report it to the forums. I'll let it off with a warning for now and keep your advice in mind should it ever go crashing on me again.
