And it didn't used to do this. Used to be able to surf the net to my hearts content while Transmission hummed along at 1mbps+

No, the point is, I can sit here and idle on the transmission forum home page and be getting 200kbps on a torrent with 200 seeders. Page has finished loading ages ago, and it's a pretty simple page. I then type in google.com in my browser (regardless of which one) and it immediately jumps to 1.7mbps ...

Three weeks later and I'm still encountering this problem. Can anybody give me an idea?

Upload speeds do not appear to be affected.
