No firewall, and the ports are configured exactly the same way i configured the ports for screen sharing (with two different programs), ssh and iStat.
It works fine on the local network, I just cant access it remotely...

I havent been able to figure this out, even with all of your help, so I guess ...

Ok, I have my settings like that, except I have no authentication yet.....
IT still doesnt work...
I have remote access from four other apps from my phone but I cant get to Transmission from Safari. there is something I am missing here...
Any more ideas?

So if my router is 192.168.1.1 I should add that to the localhost number 127.0.0.1?
I will try this now...

Tried again, still doesn't work, what should I try next?
I disconnected from the wiFi so I am only using 3G and I tried to login by

Ah, by looking at this link:

it doesn't look like this will work on a Mac because there is no settings.json file...

Maybe I should stick to VNCing into my system and controlling the system from my phone ...

There is no such daemon running on my system, even when transmission is running.

I followed the advice on this page:
https://trac.transmissionbt.com/wiki/EditConfigFiles#EditingConfigurationFiles
But activity monitor doesn't show any such daemon running and when I try this terminal comand:
killall ...

Oops!
That would explain why it was different!
I dont have a settings.json file on my system anywhere.
What do I need to install to set that up?

Hmmm, no. In my settings.json I only see this:

I guess I should add that to the file manually and save it?

Web interface remote login

Every time I try to log in remotely I get an error that says the page cannot be opened and that the server is not responding.

I regularly VNC into my computer as well as SSH so I know how to port forward and I have checked my settings several times.
It there something else I need to install to get ...
