Re: adding torrent with transmission-remote
More information: if the url has https in it, I get the error message and the torrent is NOT added. If I change it to http, then I get the same error message but the torrent IS added to Transmission. I have no problem fetching the torrent file with wget, so I have no idea why transmission-remote wou...

adding torrent with transmission-remote
I'm trying to add a torrent to Transmission running on another machine using transmission-remote (2.13, btw, on CentosOS 6.6), I often get the error "No torrent specified! Please use the -t option first". Here's how I'm adding: transmission-remote host:port --auth=username:passwd -a url --...

Re: transmission-remote --info: add tracker
-t id|hash?|all? I was quoting you. The -t all -i -it doesn't do what I want. Do you understand what I'm after? I feel I keep explaining it over and over again. So, you seem to be suggesting I add "all" to the command, but that doesn't do it. I need to correlate torrents and their tracker...

Re: transmission-remote --info: add tracker
https://forum.transmissionbt.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=16150#p69082 -it --info-trackers List the current torrent(s)' trackers If you want the whole ball of wax do: transmission-remote -t id|hash -i -it That is not sufficient. Here's why: there is absolutely no correlation between torrents and tra...

transmission-remote --info: add tracker
Please include the tracker for each torrent listed by --info. I've written a script that I would like to use to remove torrents when they are "done". "Done" is a complex thing that is different for different trackers, and if --info doesn't contain the tracker then I can't really ...

Please add time-based seeding rules
https://trac.transmissionbt.com/ticket/3779 is exactly what I want. The item was closed with this comment: I agree this is a separate ticket from #1408 but don't see a lot of demand for this feature. Please reconsider, because I've wanted this feature for years. There are many sites that require se...

Re: torrents added with transmission-remote don't start...
What has me worried is that I'm not seeding while my XBMC is maximized.
No one else has this issue??

downloading until I minimize XBMC and switch to the Transmission window. Before I did that (after I minimize XBMC), I see the torrents in question with a pink background.
I have used the Finder to prevent App Nap for Transmission.
Oh, using 2.82 on 10.9.
Ideas? Thanks.

Re: "trash original torrent files" & remote requests
If you are using the RPC interface then there shouldn't be any "original" torrent file to trash since as far as I know it's never saved to disk in that case. If you are saving it in the watchdir then it's something with your setup because it works perfectly fine for me (with manual added ...

"trash original torrent files" & remote requests
When a torrent is added (by flexget via the remote interface), my "Trash original torrent files" isn't respected and the .torrent file lives on.
Is this a known bug? Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks.

Adding via Transdroid ignores groups
Transdroid is a very nice Android app that allows you to add torrents to your Transmission running on, say, a Mac, via your phone. You can browse RSS feeds for torrents and add them that way. One problem: when I add a torrent from it, after completion it ignores the "Custom location" of my...

script to rename torrent data file(s) on completion?
The new Mac version has "on torrent completion" scripts. THANKS! I want to use this for moving torrents from the ~/Downloads/ directory to the final resting place for the torrent. First, by "complete" does that mean when the torrent is done downloading or done seeding? Second, I ...
