Sorry for responding to a thread 3 months old... but... `killall -HUP transmission-daemon` will cause transmission-daemon to reload the settings...

Since I couldn't find the information online, I figured it out myself. Place the blocklists files in /var/lib/transmission-daemon/info/blocklists/ I wrote a bash script to pull the blocklists: #!/bin/bash BLOCKLISTDIR="/var/lib/transmission-daemon/info/blocklists" BASEURL="http://www....
