That was kinda what I was getting at. There have been, and still are a crap load of random issues affecting Snow Leopard. Permission/Samba issues, crapload of read/write issues to HDD & Even worse on USB external drives, issues when dealing with large data. Some people have tried even reloading ...

Drinking to much on new years perhaps yeh 777 isnt exactly safe. 650 would be better providing the user that is launching transmission is the same user, tho i use 777 here for sharing media throughout house back and forth from var...

Re: operation not supported by device
Hi, How did you configure read/write access to that directory? If its just going to be a network location for torrents I would just do a public share. First, on your "shared server (sharepoint)" Launch the application ' terminal ' Start by setting read/write on the drive first if you have ...

Re: Watch dir only looked at on daemon start
good to hear it helped ya. Yeh was designed for my MyBookWorld NAS ect. Sounds like you made some improvements. I managed to fix my transmission lockups by adding the prefix EVENT_NOEPOLL='0' to my startup script. Was plaguing me for months before today when turned out it was a NAS thing. Sometimes ...

Re: "Invalid Argument" and then download stops
Does the error look the same as the picture attached to this old ticket?
https://trac.transmissionbt.com/ticket/333
I have not seen that one before, may have to downgrade to a version that is working until one of the devs can figure it out.

Re: unable to finish torrents, files corrupted after downloa
Check no indexing services are running on the DIR Check network card MTU as well as your modems MTU ifconfig , will tell you this. If you have MTU issues this can cause file corruption and skipping of missing elements of files ect. Perform a tracepath to each of your hops discovered by a traceroute ...

Re: operation not supported by device
Could be issues writing to different filesystem like NTFS, does the sharepoint server have public read/write access to that directory? Does transmission store to your local machine fine? Likely this is a writing issue across to a network device. Perhaps a example of the location & how you select...

Re: "Invalid Argument" and then download stops
sounds like a possible permission issue, is the transmission/apache user have full access to that dir? If it stores data to a file, then tries to overwrite some data, perhaps it cannot overwrite due to permission and fails. or loses connection slightly then cannot overwrite, you should 'chmod 777 /p...
