Transmission

Hi all !

I recently noticed that the Firewall of my OS is turned off.

While I have no problems with my OS, I do know that it's generally a good idea to keep the Firewall on.

Here, I am wondering if turning on the Firewall could interfere with torrent downloads and uploads on Transmission?

i checked and the situations is exactly as you say.
well i am ok with this if you say it won't effect my download speed. but does this create problems for other people who i might be sharing files with?
i am using a DSL wi-fi AT&T modem.
