Re: Transmission killing network
I can't see how many connections are open on my router (AVM Fritzbox), but I have the feeling that there are a lot more than I've set T to use. You may have a point there. I guess you'd have to go through the manual and see if some values can be lowered. Are you saying Transmission utilizes more co...

Re: Transmission killing network
Thanks for you help x190. I've set down- and upload speeds to about 60% of the maximum. Sadly this didn't change anything, except that the speeds are slower at the start. But the rates still drop after some minutes, and websurfing becomes impossible. I think it has something to with the number of co...

Re: Transmission killing network
Is there anything else I could do to resolve this? The problem is now, that on some trackers the older Versions of T (i.e. 2.13 in my case) are getting banned. So now I'm forced to upgrade. I tried the new version again today (2.33) and immediately ran into the same problems described above. I disab...

Re: Receive buffer?
I have the EXACT same error (even the numbers are the same) and wonder what it means and how to fix it. I run Transmission 2.31.

Re: Transmission killing network
I have the same issue with all versions above 2.13. I tried disabling PEX and DHT and limit my connections to 100. Downloads and uploads are slower and sometimes the network goes more or less completely down (very very slow websurfing). With 2.13 have set the connection limit to 200 and PEX+DHT enab...

Re: new torrent wont verify
The data has to be in your default download location for it to be auto-verified when you first add the created torrent (or any torrent for which you might have previously downloaded data). If you move the data elsewhere or even put it in the default d/l location after the add window appears or torr...

Re: new torrent wont verify
I have this behavior since upgrade to 2.20 ... I have to select "Verify local data" from the menu, then the torrents gets verified and Transmission starts seeding. This is a bug. What does your Message Log [Debug] say when you add the torrent? This it what it says: 2011-02-08 22:57:48 +01...

Re: 2.20 takes over bandwidth
I can confirm this behavior. I did not changed any settings, but since 2.20 browsing has become extremely sluggish if Transmission is running.
