Re: RSS feeds

If you're on mac, have a look at Automatic. It's really nice, and does filtering too.

Re: Running Transmission as daemon using Lingon?

I tried this once. But you'll need to compile the daemon from source, but especially on the mac this is very easy . Then just either install the daemon in a default place, or where-ever you want it, and enter that as the executable lingon (launchd). Do make sure you add it to 'Users Daemons' not as ...

The request is on the todo list on trac ( #1394 ). It's in need of a volunteer to implement it.

Re: Moved Files No Longer Upload

I was referring to the mac gui, but I think (not sure) that a similar feature exists in the GTK gui. (maybe not in 1.32, but in 1.42, not sure at all)

Then you're likely experiencing other issues, I suggest you upgrade to the latest version of transmission, or even try a nightly.

Re: Scheduled Speed Limit

You do need to enable rpc/web ui first and make sure the white-list is correct. Also, the scripts assume you have Transmission v1.42. I'm assuming the options are in the preferences, otherwise check the wiki.

Try setting the rpc-whitelist to "127.0.0.1,192.168.*.*".

Re: Native iPhone app for remote managing Transmission developed

Looking good! Good luck with the review process!

On the other hand, if you have some suggestions/feedback on the rpc, it's greatly appreciated! Just join the Transmission irc channel.

Re: Moved Files No Longer Upload

Transmission > File menu > Move Data Files To...

Don't forget:
  • Make sure all torrents are paused
  • You must choose the enclosing folder, not the data files itself
  • Choose Verify Local Data from the Transfer menu

Re: Transmission 1.40 cross compile

Check the configure log, it's more descriptive then the standard output.

Btw, don't you have ipkg, or similar package system?
