Re: Creating a Torrent
Why isn't there a way to do this through the GUI (since you can do it through the GUI on the Mac OS X version)? I think it would be awesome if after running transmission-daemon on my server I could make a .torrent files through that GUI. Also, how do we check which version of Transmission we're using?

Reset Transmission
I have a problem I've posted here . I'm running transmission-daemon (I believe it's called) I believe version 2.2 or something, but I don't know how to be sure (however it was install fairly recently, so I can't be more than a release or two behind--and I doubt even that) on my CentOS 5.5 server. I ...

Re: Suddently Asking For Username and Password
Okay, so last time I rebooted the server, started Transmission with the simple: transmission-daemon command and then started SABnzbd+ and everything was good. Now, even when I reboot the server and don't do anything and try to go to where Transmission should be: http://SERVER_IP:9091/transmission/we...

Re: Suddently Asking For Username and Password
I edited the file, but it's still asking me for a username and password. Are there any other reasons this might happen?
Note: this started after I installed SABnzbd+ on the server.

Suddently Asking For Username and Password
Recently when I try to access transmission through my browser I'm being asked for my username and password. My root username and password aren't working and I have no idea what else it could be. I have root access to my CentOS 5.5 server, is there any way I can get Transmission to stop asking me for...

Re: Creating a Torrent
I'm sorry, but I'm still not understanding how to do it. So if I have a bunch of files on my server, where should I put them, and what command should I type into my SSH client (I'm assuming) to get a .torrent file I can then use? Because the web interface doesn't seem to have a way for me to do that.

Re: Creating a Torrent
I'm saying I have a bunch of files on my server. I'd like to be able to take those files, and create a .torrent containing the information to those files. That way I can use that .torrent file, and seed from my server instead of from my computer. I'm sorry, I didn't understand much of those last bit...

Creating a Torrent
Right of the bat I'd like to apologize for my utter lack of skill with all this. I have no understanding of coding, and have some issues doing things on my server. I'm wondering if there is any way (through the web interface or otherwise) for me to create a .torrent file so I can torrent files I hav...

Where are all these files?
I'm using Transmission 2.22 on Centos 5.5 and can't find the files I'm using Transmission to download (and can't find a "Transmission" folder anywhere that would have everything in it or anything. I'm sorry, I'm not good at doing these kinds of things but I'll do my best to help you help m...
