I'm back with the same problem. Using version 2.51. After a few MB download, permission denied error.
I am must specify that I am only getting this error on my MacBook Air running 10.7.3. At home on my iMac, no problem.

OK, the crash occurs upon quitting the app, which I did after my previous post.

Re: Permission denied error after downloading a few MB
OK, I downloaded the latest build. It still gives me the same error. It stops downloading after 4MB.
The main problem I am encountering, is the error not the crashes. It maybe crashed 2 or 3 times (all versions) since I posted. But unable to complete a download.

Permission denied error after downloading a few MB
I'm getting the following error after downloading a few MB of a torrent:
Error: permission denied (/Users/me/Downloads/Filename)
This happens with 2.40b1 and 2.42, with different torrents. I'm running OS X 10.7.2.
I looked at similar threads but the issue seemed to be different so I don't know ...

Re: "Error: No data found! Ensure your drives are connected"
I had the same issue for the very first time today. I would get the same error message or "error no such file or directory" and Transmission would eventually quit unexpectedly.
I downloaded 2.40 b1 (12903) and so far so good.
