Re: Multiple “Downloading” files
If six files are actively downloading does the polling by, say, twelve 0/0 files use up enough resources to impede the downloads? Does my question even make sense?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Multiple “Downloading” files
I will normally have around 6 active files that show “Downloading” and a few showing as “Queued for Downloading” and I let them go thru their sequence normally, going from Queued thru Downloading to completion. I have occasionally had some files that were not doing anything in the Downloading state....

Re: Downloads appear to be active, but no progress bar.
I have no idea if this relates: I was adding torrents and I was also finding that there was no progress bar action even when there was minor activity (double digit mb speeds that was very sporadic). Over time I noticed that I was adding torrents that had little or no peers. I wasn’t using the featur...

Performance at end of download
**UPDATE 6/22** The Administrator gave me a spanking (rightly so) for re-posting this a while back so I hope I did this right this time.** ** I also noticed that this post is probably in the wrong topic but I don't know how to move it out of this Mac specific topic. ** If my "Save Incomplete Fi...

The old "stuck at 99.xx% download" question..
I have a download that is stuck at 99.66 percent for four or five days. How do I complete the download? When the question has been asked before the answer I have seen is : "Stop the uncomplete torrent, right-click and "force re-check". If it's same hash it should complete to 100 %. Yo...

Re: Update Tracker?
Is anyone out there that can answer this question? I seem to be encountering many torrent files that look like they have More that 20 seeders and less than half that as leeches and my downloads just sit there, sometimes for over a week. When they do download Transmission shows that they are using no...

Update Tracker?
What happens when I select Transfers > Update Tracker? Is it global or only for the selected download? Is it worth doing? How do I know it did anything?
Thanks,
Pete

Download stuck at 99.8 for two days.
I have a download stuck at 99.8% for two days. Is there a way to “close” the file and see if it’s usable?

Duplicate Torrent link?
Thanks for all of the responses to my requests in the past. I find the help here can be very useful. When I click on a particular magnet link I keep getting a message that says "gibberish.gibberish.more gibberish. cannot be added because it is a duplicate of an already existing transfer" ....

Re: Transmission client for seagate stct8000100?
Once more with feeling: I'm not finding much about this topic when I do a search on this board - although I'm pretty sure some of the threads I've looked through addressed pieces of my concern-I'm just too thick to "get it". Am I asking the wrong question? The web interface for this NAS ma...

Re: Transmission client for seagate stct8000100?
(Bump) I have access to this server from seagate. It's the 2-bay 8TB model and their documentation and support is very weak. I know just enough about systems to get myself into deep do-doo very quickly. What I would love to do is set many torrents in a queue in an application on the NAS and then tur...

Transmission client for seagate stct8000100?
Is there a transmission client for the seagate NAS mentioned above? One that will allow transmission to download while the main mac is shut down?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Torrents slow down/stop on delete
OK... I'll do that. It's very disconcerting to watch the Transmission Application look "brain dead" for so long - especially when there is the spinning beach ball and when I click on the Transmission icon in the dock "force Quit" instead of just plain 'ole "quit" is sho...
