File permission
Hi guys, when transmission downloads a file I can read it but it cant be moved. To fix this I use winscp to change the permissions to 666 which fixes the issue and I can move the file. Is their anyway top fix it so I dont have to do this on every download? Thanks

Thats done it. I just edited the script and it worked perfectly. I also took the liberty of moving transmission into my opt folder alongside twonky media server to keep it more organized. Thank you very much for your time and patience, its very much appreciated

does the user "nobody" have permission to read/write under the mounted share /mnt/HD/HD_a2/ , which is where your download and config directories seem to be located. often permissions are source of these types of errors. running the command ls -laR /mnt/HD/HD_a2/ might give some clues. Th...

Restart computer or use Terminal and mv <file> <destination> . The response I get is that its in use with another programme, transmission I assume. Not necessarily. More likely to be a media player. Files not moving
When I download a torrent I am unable to move the downloaded file from the directory it was downloaded to. This counts for torrents that have been remove from transmission.
