Tried both settings, disabling DHT dropped that suspect traffic unfortunately.

Traffic Flow when Idle
Lately I've noticed that the transmission client continues to send varying amounts of UDP traffic outbound even when it has no active torrents. (I'm not monitoring the inbound traffic) Is this expected behaviour?

Having the ability to specify the outbound port range is the only real solution.
