Transmission

I've noticed that the packages for Transmission or Debian Jessie is still only at 2.84 (instead of 2.91/2.92). Do you know how/when debian will get the latest binaries?

I noticed that transmission 2.42 is out, but the packages for debian are still at 2.03 stable, and that 2.33 is in experimental phase. Does that mean there is a different way to get transmission besides apt-get install transmission? Or does that mean they never updated the debian distro? Note I'm a ...
