Transmission

Yesterday transmission started crashing repeatedly, whenever I re-open it it crashes after about 30 seconds.

This could be a misunderstanding of how the seeding ratio works, but I've tried to maintain a high ratio of seeding because I remember reading that this improves your download speed (correct?). I'm moving to a new computer, and would like to maintain my ratio, is it possible to transfer this info ...

My MPB has been running slow recently and crashing during the past couple of days, so I opened up Consol to see what was going on and to my suprise found this message more than 4000 in the 2 hours since I booted up:
