Call Script setting won't stay
I have a script to call and it works great...for awhile. Periodically I'll notice the script is no longer running and sure enough it is gone from the Call Script preference setting. Is there a way to make it stick permanently? I don't have any problems with the other settings.

Re: Transmission not opening new torrents
Otomatic downloads the torrent files and places them in the watch directory as it should. Transmission fails to detect the new torrent file until it is restarted. I looked through the preferences but I can't find a debug setting. Thanks for any help.

Transmission not opening new torrents
Every few days transmission will stop opening new torrents added to the watch directory. If I quit transmission and start it again then they open. Obviously this plays havoc with my ratio's on torrent servers. How can I diagnose this problem? I am running El Capitan but I was having the problem unde...

Re: how to get auto-add to work?
I am also using Otomatic with Transmission. It has worked flawlessly for a long time but recently (perhaps since El Capitan?) Transmission has only been adding torrents sporadically. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Auto delete after criteria met
It would be nice if Transmission could delete downloaded content after meeting criteria for days seeded or ratio seeded. For instance I would like to tell Transmission to seed my files for 30 days and then delete them. Not just remove from Transmission but to delete the file from Finder as well. I w...

failed its checksum test
Every single file I download completes and then displays this message in the log, "failed its checksum test". It is a real problem as I need to maintain my ratio with a private tracker. I have already tried running disk utility against the drive in question and it shows no errors. What can...

Verify Local Data
I frequently get the error message "Verify Local Data" telling me that a piece is corrupt. This happens ALOT. I have tried the option from the Transfers menu to reverify data but it still says it is corrupt. If I delete the item from the Transmission menu, retrieve the torrent file from th...

Re: error no data found
The culprit is "Automatic". The author put this stupid feature into the app and didn't make a way to turn it off. You can use a command line to turn it off though. Here is the info.

Re: error no data found
I have stuffit but it's an old ppc version that won't run under lion. What other apps could possibly perform this action?
I checked macpardeluxe and I don't see any "watch folder" option. Same with unrarx.

Re: error no data found
If I did then why does it only happen part of the time?
Is there anyway to determine what app or script is causing the action?

Re: error no data found
I am not running a script on download complete. I am using the most recent version of Transmission and I am running on an iMac with the latest version of osx and all of the recent updates are installed. Thanks for your help.

error no data found
Not every time, but sometimes, a torrent will download and the folder containing all of the rar files fill disappear. In it's place will be the complete file. Then Transmission says "error no data found! ensure your drives are connected or use move data file to to re-download, remove the torren...

Re: automatically put parts together?
I read through that thread and to be honest I don't think it is realistic for the average user. Programs such as Unison are able to download files in parts and patch them together without users having to resort to unix scripting. I think that Transmission should provide similar functionality. Perhap...

automatically put parts together?
Right now I use unrarx to put the parts back together after receiving a file. It's a bit tedious to watch the parts being assembled, especially if I have several files, so I'm winding if there is an automated way to handle this? unrarx does not appear to support watch directories so I assume transmi...
