you're right it's sad, i'm back with the daemon.

I have tested this on a 30GB+ torrent. Before, it needs over 5 minutes to pause, after that, under 5 seconds.

Is there a pref option to turn off the preallocation?

Until the bug 1753 got fixed, my only works around is select fews files to be downloaded at a time.

Like if a season pack got 20 episodes, i just select 2,3 of them. let it finish and select more. This way, transmission never hangs up on quit like before.

Sorry I dont get it. I know transmission can stop seeding after reaching certain ratio. How do I set it to stop after seeding a pre-defined hours?

Is there such feature in Transmission? I couldn't find it but stop seeding when reaching 1:1 ratio.

There are many ratioless trackers now which require only seeding times/1:1 ratio. Perhaps if it doesnt exists, it would be wonderful if Transmissionbt adds this feature.

symptoms : Tranmission 2.5 will hang(or take 2,3 mins to quit) on quit.
I'm using v2.5 on Lion (10.7.3)

My only custom settings are: global max connection: 30 (I get max dl speed anyway when compare with the default 200), max active torrent = 2.
