Switched to Utorrent problem disappears - still thanks to TRANSMISSION for months of help.

MAC file corruption on deletion of downloaded files
I am running on a macbook air with limited space. recently when I delete a file which I have downloaded with TRANSMISSION (move to trash using FINDER) I end up with a corrupted file system and have to reboot with a USB and run DISK UTILITY to fix. Any ideas? Thanks for any help
