I see, I didn't know about syslog. I found the error, but I don't know how to solve it. I've pasted the lines from the log file below, perhaps someone has a solution:

Transmission will randomly crash within minutes whether something is downloading or not. Since there is no error, I cannot figure out what could be causing it to crash.
