oh god, PLEASE make the filesize base change optional
go on, even if it's a hidden .plist option. for such sexy skilful coders as yourselves it would be a matter of a few minutes work i'm sure (i see that livings124 is the one who submitted the change, and i have it on good authority that he's remarkably handsome and basically a programming god), and i...

Re: Can I uncheck files AFTER downloaded to save space?
It's a bit of a run around but I suppose I could remove the torrent (not the files) delete all unecessary files from system re-initiate the torrent - select only the files I want verify data the steps i use occasionally are slightly less hassle: pause torrent in transmission delete files from file ...

Re: Headless Transmission for Mac OS X
the answer always given here is that no there isn't a headless mac version available to download, you'd have to build it yourself. maybe someone should start building & sharing them. not sure about running multiple instances of the gui version - googling shows that there are ways to run more tha...

Re: Limiting Active downloads
not directly in the linux version (unless it's been added very recently, which i guess it hasn't or you wouldn't be asking). someone made a script to do something along those lines - search the forum for queueing in linux.

Re: Group labeling
you can add a group, you can give it a name/label (and a colour 8-) ) of your choice, and you can set criteria (based around torrent name, tracker names, filenames, comments) for torrents to be automatically added to it, and/or add them to it manually. i have three groups set up to automatically tak...

Re: Ignore time-based Speed Limit for some groups
sounds pretty good to me. tho you can't currently do it per group, you can do it per torrent - in the last tab of the inspector, untick "stay within the global bandwidth limits", and then set specific limits if you want to.

Re: torrent clients crashing snow leopard?

Re: Delete folders as well as files upon "delete data"
no it's not just a mac thing. all it is is, if you download a file in transmission, and then keep it seeding, and you open that file with an application (text editor or whatever), you could theoretically change the contents and resave it, at which point there'd be a discrepancy between the altered d...

Re: Reseed after deleting data file
in the add dialog, select the folder that contains the file/folder of the torrent data, and press the "verify local data" button. it should get up to 100%, so transmission will start seeding when you start the torrent. if it stays at 0% then you've selected the wrong location.
