Found this thread on Google while searching for a solution to this exact problem. I'd love to see this implemented. I have lots of torrents with an "unregistered torrent" error, I'd love to be able to delete/manage all of them easily.

Freezing when adding selection of torrents to group
OS X 10.9.2 Transmission 2.82 I'm experiencing some freezing when trying to add a selection of torrents to a group. Not sure if I'm trying too many (a couple hundred torrents) but this didn't used to be a problem. I select them, right click, add to a group, and it freezes. I left it for a couple min...
